What Is Our Future, Our Legacy?
This question can be answered by two small but very effective words:
"OUR CHILDREN"!
No matter what we do or attempt to do in this world, our children are the ones that will inherit what we leave behind and fill the vacancies we leave. Now there is no one that wants to leave these little ones a world of strife, terror, or worse things. Every parent wants the best for their children.
True, there have been many, many instances down through history where various tyrants have risen to wreck all kinds of havoc and destruction upon their particular part of the world, but there has always been a "Countering" faction in place to thwart those tyrants.
From the very start at Creation, God has known exactly what directions man would take through out history and continuing to this very day. He knew that man would give in to every base instinct such as greed, the lust for power, the desire to control his own destiny and in many cases, the destiny of others. Left to ourselves and these "Base Instincts" we can do nothing but ’self-destruct’ and in doing so, take as many with us as we possible could.
We can only imagine what the "Garden of Eden" was like at the beginning.
