We have had HeadSpace as a plugin on our blog network since it was formed. Admin uses the basic features with every post. but there is more we can all easily use here to really boost out traffic. Here is an excerpt form the Authors original blog.

HeadSpace is a powerful all-in-one plugin to manage meta-data and handle a wide range of SEO tasks. With it you can tag your posts, create custom titles and descriptions that improve your page ranking, change the theme or run disabled plugins on specific pages, and a whole lot more.

Because the configuration of meta-data can be a complicated and tiresome process HeadSpace provides several shortcuts to reduce your effort:

  • Meta-data nesting - data is collected not only from the page itself, but nested parent pages
  • Dynamic data extracted - why repeat yourself when you can extract data from the post itself?
  • Full GUI interface - data is entered alongside post content, and with a full auto-suggested AJAX interface for tags and keywords
  • Mass-editing - now you can edit meta-data for all pages and posts at one go!

Now if everyone has done their tag/key phrase research and updates it often,  or is doing their research now, Headspace makes it easy updating or changing tags to optimize each page and post so you can change from poorly performing tags/ key phrases to low competition, highly searched ones easily! Remember, your tags must match your post/page content and should be in the content at least once.

TBN has many SEO features that can boost your traffic quickly! Take a litle time to get fimiliar with them. You will see a difference in no time. Support is always here to help.

SEO website marketing is mainstream.

The leaders and the followers have optimized their websites. Only the late adopters are left. If you don’t promote your website through search engine optimization soon - you’ll be crushed by the competition.

Websites without search engine optimization will quickly die. SEO is mainstream marketing. It is no longer an afterthought. If you are a late adopter and haven’t optimized your website for search engine results or search engine marketing, your competition will quickly surpass you in Internet search engine results. This will lead to the demise of your website. Even if your product is primarily bricks and mortar - your competition will be gaining a Huge advantage. The Internet online audience is over 70% of the population. This audience takes advantage of Internet marketing strategies. According to Stores magazine, 90% of shoppers research a product on the Internet before buying - either on a regular basis (43.3%) or occasionally (47.3%). Only 9.5% never use the Internet for comparison-shopping. eMarketer reported in January 2008 that 88% of online users are driven to a website because of search engine results. (Study by Deloitte Development and Harrison Group "The State of the Media Democracy Second Edition.") Google gets an estimated 350 million searches per day. Yes, per day. (That’s what everyone does all day!) Yahoo "only" gets around 300 million. (Online Media, Marketing & Advertising May 2008.) If your website is not optimized, you will be crushed by the competition.

EntreCard will cancel your account if you have autoplay audio on your blog!

I Heard today that a fellow blogger got booted from EntreCard for having auto playing  music on her blog!

I am not in any way dishing EntreCard! I know they have their reasons, one being slow loading pages. I just want all of our bloggers that use EntreCard, to make sure any music or audio on their blog is NOT ON AUTO PLAY!!!!!!!

NOOOO problem for those with their players in default off (visitors have to turn it on), not using EntreCard, or who like getting booted from sites…..  but either one is not a good way to become a successful Internet marketer!

Is Google page rank important in SEO land?

I’m not so sure it really matters to the search engines, but maybe.

I know I pay attention to it as a reference. I have read articles on page rank by marketers and SEO experts like Jonathan Ledger that say its not so important.

I  tend to agree if you are a marketer moving from one hot product to the next, giving it all you have for a month or so then moving on. But for someone with their own products I think Page Rank is important and can be achieved fairly easily.

How do I know this?

There is a reason why there are so many new blog networks popping up. They work to get their members massive targeted web traffic!  They all have their own "tricks" but I want to warn you that there is no free lunch, you will have to work for it and post well researched articles and do your own linking ect….. if there is something out their doing it all, they won’t give it to you free! Would You give that away?

The Basics are, whether here at Traffic Blog Net or at one of the other blog networks, Well researched and written Original Posts! I don’t care what they tell you, You will need some very good content on your blog to get the search engines interested and keep them ranking you higher. Don’t run  away yet! It does not have to be perfectly done by a professional copywriter, and every post doesn’t have to be your original (as long as the original gets their credit! I also recommend adding your thoughts and reason for using the article.) Anyone can write a short search engine friendly article about something they know about every day. With a little coaching and practice you can be a pro in no time.

Blog networks are hot! A great way to get super targeted web traffic! I recommend joining  any that will work for you, but be sure you have time to post almost everyday in each of them!
