Basic SEO For You

I left similar advise on a members page at MegaTraffic.tk and then decided it was really simple advise everyone could use, so I added a little more to it for all of you.

By posting a small post about something on your blog or site every week, here, on your blog, and in any other social networks you are in, you will build your web traffic 2 ways.

1. people will see something from you on a regular basis and go see what it is you are so excited about.

2. Your content and keywords that are in your posts will be indexed by the search engines from each site and show links in, from each of them.

If your blog is on Blogger or another large blogging site it will need lots of incoming links and regular posts to boost your blog through all of the competition and get you seen on the search engines.
Free and affiliate websites work the same way. If the company you are an affiliate of has 10,000 affiliates, you have to win the top spot by beating every one of them in the search engines, not easy with a page you can not edit!
Thats right! Those "free websites" they give you are just about worthless on their own. You need your own blog and social profiles with blog and forum posts to draw your customers and the search engines. Your "free" page will only be the link you send interested customers from your posts to buy the product you mentioned in that post.

BIGGEST SECRET EVER!!!!!

Do not talk about your products all the time!
Sure, they will come up just as in normal conversation because you are excited about them. But talking just about what you are selling will get you very few customers! This is why I added the most searched terms to Mega Traffic. so you can see what the world is searching for.
Watch that list!
You very seldom see a product listed.
If you do, do not run to try and corner that search phrase! Google it first…… see how many times it was found on Google? That is your competition! Think you can beat all of them out to rank on the first page of a Google search? It would take years for a single person! The top search will probably change tomorrow… You missed that one!

This brings me to teamwork.
1. The Gang Up group allows you to team up and make a difference (and money) quickly as a team.
2. Mega Traffic is a teamwork site. Every post, link, update entered on Mega Traffic by any member will help every member.
I am helping you by bringing our site a higher traffic rank than some more active Ning networks. I allow very little Spam or member adverts all over the place to keep our quality high and the search engines watching us.
All you have to do is post interesting, informative blog and forum posts. Every post you submit will bring you closer to being seen from a search on a major search engine.

The weird part? It does not have to have a single thing to do with what you are marketing! It has to do with what you like, what you know, and who you really are!

The Roller Coaster

It has been an exciting few weeks! The blog network seemed like it could not be stopped! Our Alexa rank kept steadily climbing ……. until last week! Down we started! Now back down to 278,235 and I see no reason why. Actual traffic and signups are still climbing…..

Must be the Holiday push from every website out there is pushing us back even though we are still getting about the same traffic. The war heats up from hear on in!

Lets keep posting bloggers! Please not something so bad that I have to delete your blog! We can win the traffic battle! That will mean your posts on top of searches! Keep up the great work! You WILL see the results!

Come a Long Way?

When I first started playing online, I got suckered by some MLM’s and other products. I worked my butt off and basically made a fool of myself by following the instructions the "programs" gave me. They must know what they were doing! They were making money…. Right?

They sure were! Off every sucker just like me!

I was smart though, I am not in the poor house with a backroom full of "wonderful products". Sure I have some inventory, but I still use it, even sell some once in a while and am not still paying monthly for more.

I now understand a lot more about how things work on the internet.  I have also grown from a shy in the background working person to a leader and CEO of my own online business. Working with other marketers and webmasters, building a network to improve information so you know the correct ways of marketing and do not make a fool of yourself like I did, plus web traffic systems and working on ways to help members benefit from the great MLM products without the MLM stress.

Still a man of few words, but do manage to run online meetings and training sessions with interactive online conferencing software.

Starting like everyone…. with "0" website visitors or traffic. I now own this seo blog network with an Alexa Traffic Rank in the top 255,000 of all websites in the world. That adds up to tens of thousands of hits a day. I am also connected to websites bringing in over a half a million hits daily.

My business, Here Is Yours LLC is earning enough to support itself while constantly growing.

I have tens of thousands of contacts on several targeted and non-targeted lists.

The Internet has brought me a long way baby!

Thank you, friends old and new!

Is PageRank Affected by Google Links?

Matt Cutts Talks About the Topic

In the latest Google Webmaster Central YouTube Channel upload from Matt Cutts, he talks about whether or not Google places value on its own links with regards to Pagerank. Cutts took on the following user question:

Question: Does Google value its own links for PR/Linkjuice? Google Bookmarks, Google Profiles, etc. Reason – Google links never appear in Webmaster Tools. Read more: http://www.webpronews.com/topnews/2009/08/31/is-pagerank-affected-by-google-links

Is My Alexa Rank Important?

Never heard of Alexa traffic rank?

Looking to earn income online? Alexa measures your sites visitors…… no visitors (low Alexa rank) ….. no money!

Will a High Alexa rank earn you money online?  No, you can have lots of website visitors and not earn a cent!

Alexa measures your web traffic and compares it to the rest of the world wide web, Your Alexa Rank shows what percentage of total world wide web web traffic your website is getting.

Alexa ranks domains per their web traffic and the pages each visitor visits while on the domain among other criteria. Unlike Google page rank where your web page is ranked on its content, links and keywords on a scale of 1 through 10, 10 being the highest rank. Alexa starts ranking in the millions (lowest rank) and goes to 1, which is the most visited site in the world.

As far as helping your website. I can see no real benefit to a good Alexa rank. Search engines already know how many visitors you are getting through their tracking. A truckload of visitors to your site every day will help you place higher in searches because of the simple fact people are coming to your site and reading your content and buying your products…… You must have something everyone wants! The search engines won’t miss seeing that! But does the ranking Alexa gives you for that traffic boost you on the search engines? Not that I know of. (Do you know something I don’t? Leave me a comment!)

That being said……

Does your Alexa rank help your sales or signups?  A huge yes!

I use Alexa stats to research websites and companies I may be doing business with as my first "check". Web pages boasting the millions they are making with Alexa ranks of 8 0r 9 million……. I wouldn’t trust to far. It takes traffic….. visitors…… online customers to make millions and it would show on Alexa!

Getting and keeping a domain in the top 300,000 (300,000 or lower number) visited sites in the world is not something you stick up on the web and "let it do its thing". Competition is fierce. It takes work daily, even with good keyword positioning…… (keyword position can change daily) you really need  teams working from different angles to  keep a larger sites traffic steady and high, holding a high Alexa rank (low number). (I do not own or work on a domain with a rank worse than 800,000). Figuring of how ever many billions of web sites there are out there, under 800,000 is not bad!

I use Alexa rank as a guide to how I view every website I browse. The Alexa "Sparky" add on for my  FireFox browser tells me how much traffic every site I visit is getting as soon as I click on the link. Do I believe what is on the page? Depending on what the owner says on the page and its Alexa rank……. we will see!

Check Your Google Page Rank

How does Google rank your pages?

Free PageRank Checker

Google Page Rank is based on your pages….. content, keywords, back links and their relevance.

In other words….. is your web page important enough (in Googles eyes) to show in their top search results?

Is Google Page Rank Important?

Well, it is to Google. But Google search is getting ready for another big change….. will Page Rank play a factor in the future? No, but something else will…..

It is good to know where your website stands on the internet now…. Good content, relevant keywords and back links will probably always play a part. A good ranking now will most likely carry over to anything the search engines come up with as long as you are not using tactics to cheat them.

Keeping My New Car Clean

Here Is Yours.com by Scott on Aug.18, 2009, under Car Stuff

Did I forget to tell you about my "Cash For Clunkers" deal?

I am sure you have heard of the CARS or Cash For Clunkers government program to get gas guzzeling clunkers off the road and maybe stimulate the economy the right way for the car manufactures. If not, here is my story…..

I started researching the CARS program as soon as I heard about it. This was before most because I get emails from the White House about new legislation  through my involvement in the Pickens Plan. As usual the information can slowly and most was not even available until the day the program started. Read More

Independence

I would like to thank the men and women that are serving our country as we speak along with those that have in the past!

Greed has detoured us to where we are now.
Pride in our country and what “we the people” can do is what will prevail.
You are all heros in my book!
Happy Fourth Of July!
